Basis of measurement and preparation
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102 Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy
Tangible assets are included at cost less depreciation and impairment. Depreciation has been provided at the following rates inorder to write off the assets over their estimated useful lives:Plant & machinery 20% Reducing Balance

Hakeford Woods Forest School has been providing a variety of services for the local community, particularly focusing on providing outdoor learning and therapeutic opportunities for the more disadvantaged members of the local community.The company provides weekly Forest School/Outdoor learning sessions for a group of students from a local alternative provision school for children unable to attend mainstream school. The company also provides weekly sessions for home educated students and parents and toddlers. All of these sessions allow children to learn through play and experience the benefits of learning outside in nature. Since 2017 we the company has also been providing weekly Wellbeing in Nature sessions for adults struggling with mental health difficulties and social isolation. These provide a vital lifeline for many of the attendees who struggle with many aspects of daily life due to their Mental Health challenges. The company provides full time or part time employment for 3 local residents and regular volunteering opportunities for members of the local community. 20 children regularly attend Forest School sessions at the Forest School in the last year in excess of 30 individuals have benefited from the Wellbeing in Nature Sessions. Over the course of the year in excess of 10-0 children have benefited from other Forest School sessions provided by Hakeford Woods Forest School.
The company's stakeholders include parents of local children, the Forest School attendees, Accompanying and commissioning staff from local schools and the local education providers. Other stakeholders specifically associated with our Wellbeing project include local social prescribing professionals, community connectors associated with the local GP surgeries, staff from the local voluntary services and members of the local medical professions. We regularly consult with our stakeholders through conversations, questionnaires, surveys and through local meetings with others from the local voluntary sector and statutory bodies. We use the results of these discussions etc to inform our decision making processes and plans for the future regarding specific session plans or future projects being planned for the local community.
The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £22,762.06There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director's loss of office, which require to be disclosed
