Accounting policies |
|
|
Basis of preparation |
|
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). |
|
The accounts have also been prepared in accordance with the Statement of Recommended |
|
Practice : Accounting and Reporting by Charities issued in March 2005. |

Incoming resources |
|
All incoming resources are included in the statement of financial activities when the charity is entitled to the income and the amount can be quantified with reasonable accuracy. |

Fund accounting |
|
At the date of this report, all funds were unrestricted funds. These are available for use at the |
|
discretion of the trustees in furtherance of the general objectives of the charity. |
|
|
|
Resources expended |
|
Expenditure is recognised on an accruals basis as it is incurred. Expenditure includes any |
|
VAT incurred which is reported as part of the expenditure to which it relates. |
|
Charitable expenditure comprises those costs incurred by the charity in the delivery of its |
|
activities. Governace costs include those associated with meeting the constitutional and |
|
statutory requirements of the charity and publicity to promote awareness. |
