Additional information

GOVERNANCE Following formalisation of the legal structure of the organisation on 21 February 2014, we have a Board of Directors drawn from a range of local residents, arts practitioners and those with skills in community development and management. Board members each carry an equal share in activity and voting rights on the activities of the organisation. FINANCIAL Following the cessation of our service level agreement with Salford City Council in 2018, we apply for grants and commissions for all our overheads and project costs, as well as receive donations from local residents and private local companies. We have employers and public liability insurance with Zurich Insurance. We have received substantial funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund and additional funding from Booth Charities, Salix Homes, Ordsall and Langworthy Community Committee and we have also received private donations. STAFFING OCA employs a part time Community Engagements Worker on a project by project basis to service the engagement functions of the organisation. Our fundraising and administration functions are carried out on a voluntary basis. ACHIEVEMENTS AT A GLANCE Ordsall Community Arts (OCA) is made up of artists, residents, workers and volunteers and works in partnership with many organisations including Retracing Salford, Salford Lads and Girls Club, Friends of Ordsall Park and the New Barracks TMO.
