Notes to the Abbreviated Accounts for the period ended 31 December 2013

1Accounting Policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities effective April 2008.

Tangible assets depreciation policy
The reversionary lease of Beach Court, Cove Road and Harsfold Road, Rustington, West Sussex is held by the company free of cost.

Other accounting policies
Service charge fund accounts and comparative figures - in accordance with current legal and accounting practice, service charge income received from the leaseholders of Beach Court is held on trust for the leaseholders, and income and expenditure relating to maintenance of the common parts is now shown in separate service charge accounts which do not form part of the annual accounts of the company. The company has no income and expenditure in its own right.

Accordingly the transactions and balances relating to service charges collected from leaseholders
which were included in the company's accounts for the year ended 31 December 2012 and earlier
years have been removed, and the prior year figures restated. The effect of this has been to reduce
assets and reserves by £5,523.
