1. Accounting policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts

The financial statements on pages 4 to 10 have been prepared under the historical cost convention and comply with applicable UK accounting standards.

Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

Depreciation is provided at rates estimated to reduce assets to their residual value at termination of their useful life.

Other accounting policies

Stocks Work in progress is stated at the lower cost or net realisable value. Deferred tax Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date. Hire purchase and leasing commitments Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to the profit and loss account on a straight line basis over the period of the lease.
