| The company has early adopted the adjustments to FRS 105, issued by the Financial Reporting |
| Council in the Triennial Review 2017, in the current year, and has elected to classify gift aid receipts as |
| distributions and not recognise an asset unless a legal obligation existed at the balance sheet date in |
| the form of a deed of covenant. An explanation of how the transition and change in accounting policies |
| has affected the reported financial position and performance is given below. |
