  • Advances and credits
    I'm not sure I'm writing this in the correct section, but here we go!

    I made a short film last August, which I self-funded. I paid cast/crew expenses but no-one was paid, we all did it for experience and credits on CV. The loss I made (what I paid out) was £825.42. I wasn't sure if I had to declare that or not, so I wanted to explain that here, just in case.

    I made £180 taking headshots. But I wasn't sure where to write that either. Sorry. So with the film and headshots, I ended the tax year at - £645.42
