1. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Accounting convention |
As a Property Investment Company, properties are subject to periodical valuation. Subject to these |
revaluations, the accounts are prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with |
the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). |
Turnover |
Turnover represents rental income received. |
Depreciation |
In the opinion of the directors, property is maintained to a high standard through regular repair and |
refurbishment, such that the residual value of the property is expected to be sufficiently high to make |
any depreciation charge unnecessary. |
Deferred tax |
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at |
the balance sheet date. |
Investments |
Fixed Asset investments are stated at cost. |
